REI RIVERFRONT CHICAGO
We’re excited to announce that REI is opening our design concept for their new store location in the heart of Chicago’s “wild mile” along the north branch of the up-and-coming canal area this Spring. Complete with natural habitat improvements, pedestrian trails and walkways, fishing stations, viewing platforms, canoe launches, and many other amenities, this is a reinvisioned store experience that you won’t want to miss.
When Lizet called and talked about a club that immersed families in bicultural activities and events, we decided to throw in our support to help her realize her vision. We admire the blend of commerce and positive change in the world that this concept undertakes.
ECO TERRA CENTER
We’ve been working with Eco Terra Center (or ETC) for the past 25 years as a strategic partner in vision. Founder John Schaeffer wanted to re-envision for the company and make it about experience; not stuff. He asked us to please turn Ecoterra into an experience center and that’s what we did. It features eco lodging, a conference center and although the store for solar equipment is still present, it is part of a complete experience now.
Over the last year we worked with BCBGMAXAZRIA to completely re-envision their in store experience for both stand alone stores and their partner shops across the country. Our design is a romantic take on modernism's clean and minimal forms, creating a memorable backdrop for their creative and feminine point of view.
The French brothers from the Portland scene started creating vision around Joshua Tree and bought Pioneertown. Next they bought the post office at the crossroads of the highway near them. They want to create a center for provisions and lifestyle that we named Yucca Post. It will be a destination for the eco chic elite moving to the high desert and serve as an amenity for the Pioneertown Model and Pappy + Harrietts scene. They’re already hosted events for Dior and Kate Moss is a regular at the motel.
Some friends invited us to participate in a creative workspace laboratory and so we jumped in at the beginning of the year. It’s the classic brick warehouse with bow truss ceiling that is unique to the arts district in downtown Los Angeles. In conversation with the group, we realized the need of events, photo studio and filming moments to happen in the space as a benefit to the community. The folks at future capital are behind this one and we’re collaborating with them to make this happen.
Surterra is a new concept focusing on cannabis and wellness in the submerging culture of non-pharmaceutical medicine. We are eager to support this exciting change in the way people view their heath and hope to see this become a household name and a part of many neighborhoods across the country.
